Miami-Dade and Broward counties have already announced beaches in those areas will close for the independence day weekend.
Palm Beach County Mayor Dave Kerner is in talks with the county administrator on possibly closing beaches for the July 4th holiday weekend.
“To allow beaches in PBC open during that time period would be highly irresponsible, after the closure of the beaches in Broward and Miami-Dade counties…”
